World Water Day is held annually on the 22nd of March to focus our attention on the importance of having fresh water. Hope Out Loud strives to provide schools in developing nations with fresh, drinkable water to sustain health, income and education. Did you know that approximately 440 million school days are lost every year due to water-related sickness? HOL needed to respond and is currently partnering with several leading water organizations to bring clean water to more than 6 countries throughout the world. Last week, on this year’s international World Water Day, Hope Out Loud and our sister organization Behavioral Health Works, was recognized by UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. We are thrilled and honored for the recognition but more importantly, we are grateful to have the opportunity to play a small part and assist those in need.
